Training Info
LSC Destruction, LLC – will be conducting a presentation about their company and a firearm disposal demonstration with various firearms. This company can arrive, dispose and pay you for your destroyed firearms all on the same visit and at your agency.
Review of 2017 annual training seminar classes: Attendees from our chapter will be reviewing the classes which were offered at last month’s annual training seminar. Some classes offered their power point presentation which will be available to everyone attending. It will be presented during the class review and on CD to take back to your agency.
With many agencies having their property officer considered as a collateral duty, this resource is the best way to find solutions for unique and everyday situations. Getting various perspectives from both experienced and novice property officers has been the more effective than one topic trainings. This position holds various liabilities, we have discussed court orders, drug/firearm disposal, confiscation and return of firearms, where to find free/less expensive disposal options along with many other situations a property officer may have encountered.
