About Us

Mission

CAPE was formed in order to promote professionalism in property and evidence gathering, processing, and retention. Emphasis is placed on information sharing, training and support.

CAPE is a non-profit organization made up of both civilian and sworn personnel. Membership is open to all those involved in the processing or retention of property and evidence for criminal justice agencies.

Currently, CAPE has nine chapters in California as well as individual members from other states and countries. Each CAPE chapter is responsible for organizing the training within their region.

CAPE holds an annual state-wide conference, in March, that provides additional training and networking opportunities.
